Total number of members

The Management will be free to enroll as many members as it considers appropriate.

26.

Suspension of play

Normal playing of Golf will remain suspended for a few days to facilitate the conduct of the golf tournaments and events from time to time.

27.

Game Rules

Details rules governing the playing of golf, tennis, squash, billiards, gymnasium and the use the swimming pool which are currently in force are given in the schedule written hereunder. Rules for aerobatics, badminton, basketball and children play centre will be governed by rules notified from time to time.

28.

Rules Not Exhaustive

These rules are not exhaustive and the Management  shall have the absolute right and sole discretion to add or amend them from time to time and all such additions and amendments will be notified by displaying them only on the notice board of the Club and shall become immediately binding on all users of the Club.

29.

In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context -

a)

words importing the masculine gender shall be taken to include females; and

b)

words in the singular shall include the plural, and vice versa.

30.

Arbitration

Any dispute arising between the Management of the club and a Member or Corporate nominee shall be settled amicably by mutual discussion, failing which the same shall be settled through arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by the Management  of the Club. Such arbitrator shall be a retired judge of a High Court or Supreme Court and the arbitration proceedings shall be held preferably at the office of DLF Golf Resorts Ltd. in DLF City, Gurgaon, Haryana.

GOLF

1.

GENERAL

i)

Playing of golf is governed by the rules adopted by the United States Golf Association (USGA) and Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St.Andrews (R&A) and other local rules laid down by the Club. In the event of conflict between the aforesaid rules, the matter shall be decided by the Director of Golf appointed by the Club whose decision shall be final and binding.

ii)

The Golf Course Superintendent has the absolute right and discretion to enforce these rules and determine the timings of play and the days for the closure of the golf course.

iii)

Practice is not allowed on the golf course.

iv)

Use of golf course for any purpose other than playing of golf is strictly prohibited. Jogging and recreational walking is also not allowed.

v)

Whenever there is lightning in the area, playing of golf has to be stopped immediately.

vi)

Children under the age of twelve years must remain under adult supervision and kept away from the golf course and mechanical equipment.

vii)

Special golf events organised by the Club take precedence over normal play.

viii)

A group of two players may play at the discretion of the Club, if possible. A group of two is not supposed to play through a four ball and shall not exert any pressure on the group ahead. A four ball group shall have the right of way.

ix)

If any group of players fails to keep pace on the course and loses more than one hole on the players ahead, it must allow the group behind to play through.

x)

When a single player or a group temporarily stops play for any reason he or it must move to the next tee before the following group arrives at his or its tee. Otherwise he or it will lose the position on the golf course and must get permission from the pro shop to resume play.

xi)

Hand trolleys are not permitted on the golf course at all.

xii)

All players are expected to repair pitch marks on greens, replace divots, rake sand traps and place trash in containers provided on the golf course.

2.

BOOKING AND REGISTRATION

i)

All those desirous of playing golf should make bookings in advance, not earlier than one week from the date of play, furnishing full particulars required by the Club.

ii)

All registration for golf play and payments are to be made at the Pro Shop.
