After 6 P.M. when the lights turn on, it is a pleasure to play on 18 lighted holes of Arnold Palmer's Signature course (7176 yds. par 72) at the DLF Golf and Country Club, Gurgaon, New Delhi, INDIA - the country's first golf course to have night golfing.
The extension of golf into a slightly cooler period of time, after sundown in summer, is just what golfers in North India had been waiting for.
You could start at 6 P.M. and go on till 11 P.M. since huge generator sets are provided just for you to keep playing uninterrupted at the DLF Golf and Country Club, Gurgaon, New Delhi, INDIA
The DLF club has plenty of greenery based on the manicured garden concept. Approximately 25 varieties, procured from all over India, have been used and over 14,000 trees have been planted. Another feature of the golf course is the man-made lakes which are inter-connected by underground pipes and streams.
